Barrister Profile

Lorna read Law with French at the University of Liverpool whereby she completed a year at/attended Université Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne. She went on to complete the BPTC at the University of Law, Leeds and was called to the Bar in 2019.

Prior to joining Chambers, Lorna worked as a County Court Advocate successfully representing both Claimants and Defendants in a range of hearings including small claims matters involving credit hire issues.
Alongside this, Lorna worked as a barrister’s assistant. She gained significant experience assisting in drafting pleadings and advices in housing disrepair, personal injury and holiday sickness claims, all with swift turnaround times.
Since joining Chambers Lorna has gained wide-ranging experience in personal injury, clinical negligence, costs and housing disrepair. She is happy to accept instructions in these matters.

Outside the bar:

Outside of work/in her spare time Lorna enjoys keeping her fitness up in a number of ways but her favourite is practising Karate in which she holds a black belt. Lorna is fluent in French and enjoys visiting different countries and experiencing their cultures.
