We can be instructed without the need to go through a solicitor under the Public Access to Barristers Scheme. If necessary we can always be instructed without delay if any urgent situation arises. We specialise in all aspects of residential landlord and tenant law, providing oral and written advice, and representation for any court hearings. We also draft Section 8 and Section 21 Notices to obtain possession, Notices to Quit and all documents for the issue of court proceedings. We have a special expertise in housing disrepair actions, either as claims or counterclaims.

We can advise and assist landlords wishing to remove squatters.

We also represent residential letting and managing agents, as many prefer to refer their landlord clients directly to us when problems arise. This can often be an enormous benefit for an agent who would usually not want to get bogged down with their clients' legal problems. We have our own expertly drafted management agreement and letting agreements which clearly define the terms of the agent / owner relationship to cover any legal problems which may arise.

We also custom design tenancy agreements, giving landlord maximum protection against housing disrepair actions, and also, amongst other things, giving landlords the automatic right to an annual rent review.
